Highway Department

The Lee County Highway Department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of all the bridges and roads on its 220 miles of roadway jurisdiction. In addition to this responsibility, the department assists the 22 townships located in Lee County with the construction and maintenance of their highways and bridges which collectively total 967 miles of roadway jurisdiction.
